Pre-teen Saturday Pass

Purchase a Fall Class Pass for discount enrollment to all Saturday classes offered for pre-teens!

Saturdays, cost is $185. Ages 8-12.

Storybook Series 

Taught by Erin Scarberry

Clark’s Storybook Series continues at Clark under the direction of Clark Youth Theatre’s Artistic Director. Students enrolled in Storybook will use class time to rehearse and prep for Storybook Series performances throughout the season. Students can gain performance experience while performing their favorite books on our stage for adoring young theatre-goers! Please see season schedule for performance dates.

Saturdays, January 11 -May 2, 10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m.

Cost is $80 or Pre-teen Saturday pass. Ages 8-12.  

Pre-teen Laughing Matter Improv 

Taught by Quinn Blakely

A chance for pre-teens to learn new skills, perform scenes and improv games, and learn basic performance skills. This year there will be a $10 t-shirt fee for the required Laughing Matter t-shirt. 

Saturdays, January 11 -May 2, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Cost is $80 or Pre-teen Saturday pass. Ages 8-12.

Pre-Teen Musical Theatre

Taught by Tammy Slack

Cultivate your skills as a vocalist and dancer through musical theatre performance! Students will focus on singing, dancing and acting fundamentals with strong emphasis on vocal and dance techniques. The class will workshop songs from modern and classic musical theatre.

Saturdays, January 11 -May 2, 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Cost is $80, plus a $15 per semester material fee. Ages 8-12.

Short Films & Acting for the Camera  

Taught by John Cruncleton III & Quinn Blakely

Students will collaborate on the writing and execution of short films. Camera acting techniques will be explored and developed using footage shot and evaluated during class. All materials created may be used by Clark Youth Theatre for television, print and web promotion.

Teen Laughing Matter Improv

This class teaches comic improv games to increase creativity, teamwork and performance skills.  There will be at least two public performances held during the semester. This year there will be a $10 t-shirt fee for the required Laughing Matter t-shirt.

Teen Workshop Hour 

Facilitated by Erin Scarberry

Teen artists who wish to take a more serious approach to their theatrical studies are invited to participate in Clark’s Teen Workshop Hour. Course content and instructors vary through the semester. In addition, Clark Youth Council is an active part of Workshop Hour. The first Saturday of every month Workshop Hour will be time for Youth Council to promote performances, provide viral marketing support and make recommendations about CYT programming.

Saturdays, January 11 -May 2 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Cost is $80 or Teen Saturday pass. Ages 13-18.

Weekday Classes

Clark Cabaret: AUDITION REQUIRED FOR ENROLLMENT 

Facilitated by Tammy Slack

Clark’s very own musical theatre singing troupe performs each semester at Henthorne PAC as well as performance opportunities in the Tulsa community. Open auditions are once per year each September; students accepted into Clark Cabaret are troupe members for one full season. September-May.  Spring Semester is by invitation only – please contact Tammy Slack with inquiries.

Cost is $150 per semester, plus a $15 per semester material fee. Ages 8-18.

Preschool Dramatic Play

Taught by Thomas Farnan Williams

Classes are designed for preschoolers up to age 5. Goals: To introduce young artists to theatre through directed group playtime, interactive storytelling and game experiences. The class culminates in a final presentation highlighting fun moments from the semester.  

Thursdays, January 9-April 30 10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m.

Cost is $115. Ages 3-5.

Wednesday Improv & Theatre Games for Elementary Ages    

Taught by Quinn Blakely

An afterschool class for elementary students to learn improv, perform scenes and improv games, and learn basic performance skills. Class will culminate in a short end of semester performance on April 29.

Wednesdays, January 8-April 29, 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

Cost for class is $125, $200 for both Elementary Age Classes taken together. Ages 5-7.

Wednesday Musical Theatre for Elementary Ages

An afterschool program for elementary students to cultivate skills as a vocalist and dancer! Students will learn singing, dancing and acting fundamentals with strong emphasis on vocal and dance techniques. Class will culminate in a short end of semester performance on April 29.

Wednesdays, January 8-April 29, 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Cost for class is $125. $200 for both Elementary Age Classes taken together Ages 5-7.

The class culminates in a final presentation that demonstrates the performance skills and talents of the students. Class enrollment is limited to 18. If enrollment exceeds 18, the class will be divided by age into pre-teen and teen groups.  

Tuesdays, January 7-April 28, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

Cost is $130. Ages 8-18.

Wednesday Home School Drama

Home School Art:  

Taught by Penny Burt

To provide students with an introduction to several art mediums within a semester including paint, wire sculpture, drawing, pastels, watercolor, charcoal and clay. Artwork will be displayed and students will be honored with a reception during the final week of classes. *if class has high enrollment, it will be split by age into a 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. class

Tuesdays, January 7-April 28, 12 p.m.-1 p.m.

Wednesdays, January 8-April 29, 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

*8 students to make, class limit is 12

Cost for class is $115, with an additional $25 materials fee.  Ages 8-18.

Homeschool US Government through Debate & Discussion

Taught by Tammy Slack and John Cruncleton, III

This class is designed provide students with an interactive group experienced exploring the United States Government through debate and discussion. Class enrollment is limited to 18. If enrollment exceeds 18, the class will be divided by age into pre-teen and teen groups

Wednesdays, January 8-April 29, 2:45 p.m.-3:45 p.m.
