Enrollment forms can be mailed, emailed, or dropped off in person. Payment for classes can now be done online through PayPal, over the phone with a credit card, with a check, or cash.

Pre-Teen Saturday Classes

Saturdays, cost is $170. Ages 8-12.

 

Storybook Series

Taught by Erin Scarberry

Clark’s Storybook Series continues at Clark, this time under the direction of Clark Youth Theatre’s Artistic Director, together with teen mentors. Students enrolled in Storybook will use class time to rehearse and prep for Storybook Series performances throughout the season. Students can gain performance experience while performing their favorite books on our stage for adoring young theatre-goers! Semester performances will be holiday-themed for Halloween and Christmas.

Saturdays, September 15-December 15, 10:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m.

Cost is $70 or Pre-teen Saturday pass. Ages 8-12.  

 

Pre-teen Laughing Matter Improv

Taught by Cody McCoy

A chance for pre-teens to learn new skills, perform scenes and improv games, and learn basic performance skills.

Saturdays, September 15-December 15, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Cost is $70 or Pre-teen Saturday pass. Ages 8-12.

 

Pre-Teen Musical Theatre

Taught by Cody McCoy

Cultivate your skills as a vocalist and dancer through musical theatre performance! Students will focus on singing, dancing and acting fundamentals with strong emphasis on vocal and dance techniques. The class will workshop songs from modern and classic musical theatre.

Saturdays, September 15-December 15, 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Cost is $70. Ages 8-12.

Short Films & Acting for the Camera 

Taught by John Cruncleton III

Students will collaborate on the writing and execution of short films. Camera acting techniques will be explored and developed using footage shot and evaluated during class. All materials created may be used by Clark Youth Theatre for television, print and web promotion.

Cost is $50 or Teen Saturday Pass. Ages 13-18.

 

Teen Laughing Matter Improv

Taught by Erin Scarberry

This class teaches comic improv games to increase creativity, teamwork and performance skills.  There will be at least two public performances held during the semester.

Teen Workshop Hour

Facilitated by Erin Scarberry

Teen artists who wish to take a more serious approach to their theatrical studies are invited to participate in Clark’s Teen Workshop Hour. Course content and instructors vary every semester. This semester’s topics include college preparation, long form improv, music theatre workshops. In addition, Clark Youth Council will now be an active part of Workshop Hour. The first Saturday of every month Workshop Hour will be time for Youth Council to promote performances, provide viral marketing support and make recommendations about CYT programming.

Saturdays, September 15-December 15, 1:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Cost is $70. Ages 13-18.

 

Weekday Classes

Clark Cabaret: AUDITION REQUIRED FOR ENROLLMENT

Facilitated by Cody McCoy

Clark Cabaret is our newest program! Clark seeks talented youth singer and dancers for our very own musical theatre singing troupe. Led by Cody McCoy, Clark Cabaret will have public performances each semester at Henthorne PAC as well as performance opportunities in the Tulsa community. Auditions will be once per year each September; students accepted into Clark Cabaret are troupe members for one full season.

Auditions: Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.

Cost is $120 per season. Ages 8-18.

 

Tuesday Home School Drama

Classes are designed for home-schooled students ages 8-18. Goals: To provide students with an introduction to theatre through individual and group drama experiences. The class culminates in a final presentation that demonstrates the performance skills and talents of the students. Class enrollment is limited to 18.

If enrollment exceeds 18, the class will be divided by age into pre-teen and teen groups.  

Tuesdays, September 4-December 11, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

Cost is $120. Ages 8-18.

 

Wednesday Home School Drama

Taught by Cody McCoy

These classes are designed for home-schooled students ages 8-18. Goals: To provide students with an introduction to theatre through individual and group drama experiences. The class culminates in a final presentation that demonstrates the performance skills and talents of the students. Class enrollment is limited to 18.

Wednesdays, September 5-December 12, 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

Cost for either class is $120. Ages 8-18.
