Auditions are open to those ages 8-18 years old and there is no cost to participate in productions that are part of our regular season. A minimum age limit is sometimes placed on certain productions if the material contains some adult themes.
Anyone is welcome to audition, whether you are brand new to theatrical production or have been acting on stage your whole life. Clark Youth Theatre offers a safe and judgement free environment that allows the Tulsa area youth to grow as performers and individuals.
Not an actor, but want to get involved? No problem, we have just the thing for you! Become a member of the tech team. You will learn about lighting, sound, set design and construction, costuming, stage management, and prop design. No experience needed, just a willingness to learn.
Auditions: Saturday, November 4 at 3 p.m.
Clark Theatre announces auditions for The Crucible by Arthur Miller, on Saturday, November 4 at 3 p.m. at the Henthorne Performing Arts Center, 4825 S. Quaker.
In the rigid theocracy of Salem, Massachusetts, rumors that women are practicing witchcraft galvanize the town. In a searing portrait of a community engulfed by panic – with ruthless prosecutors, and neighbors eager to testify against neighbors – The Crucible famously mirrors the anti-Communist hysteria that held the United States in its grip in the 1950’s. A Tony Award Winner for Best Play.
Actors 13-18 years of age are invited to audition. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
The production is directed by Robert Young. Performances are February 2-3, 9-10 at 7:30pm, February 4 and 11 at 2pm.
